People do not want to own only the work they do; they want to own the impact they create.

We do not see good intentions as enough. We turn them into impact.

We do not just talk about potential.
We reveal it.

Because we know: true transformation does not begin with outside pressure, but with the desire within each person to contribute.

And when that desire moves into action, people do more than work — they transform the world they are part of.

Social Value, is the lasting, restorative, and transformative impact a person creates for the benefit of society, starting from where they find meaning.

The Social Value Creation Workshop, is a 5-stage developmental journey lasting 4–6 months. Through the workshop we reveal human motivation to create social value. We encourage people to move beyond awareness and become individuals who take initiative. We nurture a mindset that embraces responsibility and actively contributes to solutions, instead of remaining distant from social challenges. We instill an active citizenship attitude into everyday business life, not as an aspect outside of corporate life, but as an integral part of daily business decisions, relationships, and ways of working.

With our Co-Journeying® Method, we do not tell you what to think on this journey; we discover it together with you. Because true transformation does not happen when one person shows another the way; it happens when spaces are opened for people to find their own paths.

Social Value@Work is a social enterprise.

As the four women behind the Social Value@Work team, we are bringing together more than a century of professional experience and civil society knowledge, we set out with the motivation to expand social value.

We do not offer social support programs to organizations. We aim to build communities where people take ownership to create social impact.

Through our Co-Journeying® methodology, we walk alongside individuals rather than directing them.

This way, we develop the skills of ownership, initiative, and collaboration within organizations not only a “culture of participation”.

When people change, organizations change. When organizations change, the world changes. True social impact begins when individuals take responsibility.

Our Sources of Inspiration

We have developed the Social Value Creation approach by drawing on:

a human-centered perspective grounded in meaning and purpose,
a belief in belonging and relational trust,
a conscious approach to leadership and personal responsibility,
systems thinking and holistic perspectives, and
approaches that recognize the transformative power of human experience and emotions.

Our experience has shown that diverse schools of thought and practice, including the work of Viktor E. Frankl and Simon Sinek, the philosophy of Ubuntu and the teachings of Desmond Tutu, the wisdom of Maya Angelou and Rumi, systems thinking, conscious leadership, mindfulness, and Ikigai, all point to a common truth: people create their most meaningful and sustainable contributions when they find purpose, when they experience a sense of belonging, and when they take responsibility.

As Social Value@Work, inspired by these perspectives, we aim to create human-centered, sustainable impact spaces in organizations that transform individuals’ inner motivation into social value.
